Recent Updates

Traffic Committee Update: March 2026

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has installed new posts to help improve safety at the problematic Seminary and Warren intersection. MCDOT hopes that these will raise driver awareness on approach to the intersection, allowing for safer road crossings in the crosswalk, as well as more cautious turns onto Seminary from Warren. Traffic Committee Update: July 2025

The LCA Traffic Committee conducted a survey in June-July of 2025 and identified the following priority areas of concern: Pedestrian safety Speeding/enforcement on Seminary Rd Intersection of Seminary and Warren Cut-through traffic on Locust Grove Forthcoming impact of the Georgia Ave Project
